On 8th March 2023, we visited FURA Gems, a leading global mining company of colour gemstones. FURA is known to have been uniquely positioned as the first and only producer of the big-three colour gemstone categories, emeralds, rubies, and sapphires, through its mining subsidiaries on three continents.

We were thrilled to understand the practical concept behind their brand and achievement in mining and auctions across borders. We sincerely appreciate the Founder/CEO (@shettydev10 ) and all team members who showed us their kind gesture and shared their best comprehensive knowledge with our students about gemstone cutting, polishing, sorting, gemstone colour and clarity grading. Our designers saw some of the best and most exclusive yields coming out from the mines.

The World Academy of Design team will continue to bring innovative courses and field trips for Jewellery professionals and enthusiasts about fascinating Gemstones, Diamonds, Gem Identification, valuation, international Jewelry manufacturing standards and various skills related to the Jewellery industry.
