‘The WADA Awards’.
Wada is a promise to the Designers of the Industry. In an effort to recognize and reward the designers and professionals for their talent and unwavering commitment to the industry. WADA is an effort that aims to unite the industry not just across borders but also through minds and the cultre. This platform will prove to be a lighthouse for Jewellery Designers in the coming years. With a panel of judges, widely renowned in the Jewellery Industry in different regions of the world, The WADA brings revolutionary minds to the table to reward the best designers with the recognition they deserve.

JUDGES FOCUS
What We are Looking For
Our esteemed Judges will be focused to judge the designs on the basis of usability, manufacturing, ease of use, practicality, effective wearability, uniqueness of design, and presentation of the over all design. As per the theme rules of the awards, the primary Gemstone to be used is Natural Emerald, the shape and cut of the Primary stone should be in the limit of possible shape and size of a precious stone like emerald. Use of Diamonds, pearls, onyx or enamel is permitted as secondary elements of design.
All designers whose designs are shortlisted in top 10 of each category, will be requested to get their designs made in 3D CAD for the purpose of final Judgement.

1 Male and 1 Female designer of the Grand category will be awarded the title of "Master Designer of the World"
3 Milestone Awards for Jewellers
Jewellers can submit the picture of their ready jewellery article in the Wedding Category Complete piece will be required to submit for the final decision

Design Formats for submission

3D Design
Jewellery Designers can submit an original design created and composed on 3D Design software like Matrixgold, Matrix9, Rhino, etc. The submission must be the original 3DM file and a fully rendered file in JPEG or PNG Format only.

2D Design
Jewellery Designers can submit a design sketch made by hand or 2d made by Digital software like Adobe, Coral, Procreate, etc. The design should be completely rendered with colors & scanned in JPEG or PNG format only.

Ready Jewellery Articles
Jewellers and Manufacturers can also send a picture of the ready piece of Jewellery in Jewellers Category. The picture has to be a high-resolution file in JPEG or PNG Format only.
Early bird entry fee for first 200 designs
only $8.5 / AED30 / INR700 per Design
DESIGN RULES AND MATERIAL TO BE USED
Metal
Only precious metals like Rose Gold /White Gold /Yellow Gold, or Platinum can be used for all designs.
Gem Stones
Natural emeralds of all shapes & cuts can be used in any realistically possible size. Emerald shall be used as the primary Gemstone in all Jewellery, in combination with other gems like Diamond, black onyx or pearl etc, as if required.
Other Material
Use of plastic, glass, or wood is not permitted.
